less than four months away...

The semester is in full swing, so I'm trying to keep wedding planning as a weekend event, but that's hard. We now have a theme of sorts, "wildflowers", though I don't really know what that means for a wedding..I guess I will find out.

Miriam, Dawn, and Tara have been passing along links to wedding-type dresses, and so far I've ordered four and returned three...one more is on its way. One is a definite maybe...it's been fun looking at all kinds and colors and types of dresses that may work for an outdoor spring ceremony.

David and I are having lunch with our friend tomorrow to see if she will be our celebrant and to discuss ideas for the ceremony. David has friends who are cake bakers and caterers and is making arrangements for us to meet with them soon. Yum. We are lucky to have artists like Anika and Toni and Tara in our lives who are willing to take photos and design invitations and programs and ensure that our celebration is aesthetically pleasing. Then there's Julie who has coordinated the Cougar Cabin for All the Single Ladies, Deb who is coordinating airport pick-ups, and everyone else who has listened, shared ideas from their own weddings or provided support in other ways.

Don't worry, I'll be hitting you up soon, if I haven't already, for help pulling this big event off.

We're heading down to Townsend next weekend to walk the grounds, inspect the barn, and figure out what kind of decorations we may need to come up with.
