save the date

 Dear friends and family -

David and I plan to get married Memorial Day weekend in the Smokies.
We would be honored if you could save the date...and even more honored
if you could let us know (as best you can as of now) whether you think
you can join us, or not, and how many would come.

We would like to get information to out to folks very soon about cabin
rentals/hotels so that we can all be staying near each other (and
reservations may need to be made sooner rather than later since it's a
holiday weekend). We have reserved the same cabins I rented for my
40th birthday party in Townsend for our families, and there are a lot
of cabins nearby for friends.

We haven't worked out details of the ceremony or reception yet - so
far all we have done is reserve the Metcalf Bottoms pavilion in the
Smokies all day Saturday and Sunday.

Mostly we want it to be a lowkey, weekend long event where everyone
can reconnect and enjoy themselves.

We are very excited to have you as part of our special weekend!
